1. LOADING FOR SUCCESS
- Use the Swing Door: Open the rear door to walk heavy items inside. It’s safer and allows for tighter packing.
- Level Loading: Keep the debris level. Start from the front (near the truck) and work your way to the back.
- The “Top Rail” Rule: Never fill the dumpster above the top edge. If debris is sticking out, we cannot legally or safely tarp the load for transport.
2. WEIGHT & VOLUME TIPS
- Avoid “Sponge” Weight: If rain is in the forecast, cover the bin with a tarp. Wet carpet, drywall, and wood can double in weight, leading to overage fees.
- Heavy Materials: If you are loading concrete, dirt, or brick, only fill the bin halfway. These materials are extremely dense and can easily exceed the truck’s lifting capacity.
3. SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
- No “Never” Items: No wet paint, tires, batteries, refrigerators (Freon), or hazardous chemicals.
- Permit Check: If parked on the street, ensure your permit is clearly visible.
- Clear Path: On pickup day, ensure no vehicles are blocking the dumpster. Our 3-axle trucks need at least 50 feet of straight-line space to pull the bin onto the bed.
4. SCHEDULING YOUR PICKUP
- Don’t Wait: We do not automatically pick up the bin when your time is up.
- Notify Us: Call (410) 916-8765 or email info@willbeenterprises.com at least 24 hours before you want the bin removed.
- Need More Time? Extensions are available for a flat daily rate. Just give us a heads-up!
